Jochen Amelsberg is Managing Partner of the companies of AMELSBERG GROUP and an experienced consultant, coach and change agent. He has delivered numerous enterprise-wide improvement initiatives for our clients, from strategy definition to hands-on implementation and on-site team management.
Jochen Amelsberg founded the German branch of AMELSBERG GROUP under the brand APC International in 2007 with the aim of helping companies achieve top performance in competition based on the latest management methods.
He is an expert in Lean Six Sigma, Lean Management and Agile methodologies, including APQP/PPAP and Design for Lean Six Sigma (DFLSS). He works with all hierarchical levels from the board level to the worker on site in the organizations he oversees, from medium-sized companies to large multinational corporations.

Corporate development
These are some stages of the AMELSBERG GROUP development from its foundation until today:
- In 2007, APC International was founded in Ahrensburg with a focus on implementation in the area of Lean Production/Lean Management and optimization with Lean Six Sigma.
- In 2013, the legal form of the company was changed to a limited liability company.
- In 2014, APC International GmbH relocated its company headquarters from Ahrensburg in Schleswig-Holstein to Hamburg.
- In 2017, we moved to new premises in Neuer Wall in Hamburg and expanded our range of services to include the Business Innovation and Management Solutions services.
- In 2020, we moved our headquarters back to Ahrensburg in Schleswig-Holstein.
- In 2024, we re-branded under the name AMELSBERG with the relocation of our main office to Kristiansand in Norway for the Nordics region and our international business. Our branch in Germany continues to cover the DACH region.
